RUSSELL RAIL FEED CHUTE TRANSPORTERS
RUSSELL Rail FCTs are field proven to withstand heavy loads and harsh plant conditions.
RUSSELL Rail FCT are designed to endure the impact loads from the operating feed chute and resist corrosion and material ingress into the working parts caused by spillage. RME offers two distinct types of Rail Feed Chute Transporters (FCT).
RUSSELL ‘R1’ Rail Feed Chute Transporter, single axis powered travel back and forth along feed chute rails which lie along the mill axis.
RUSSELL ‘R2’ Rail Feed Chute Transporter, two axis powered travel back and forth along feed chute rails which lie along the mill axis plus additional powered lift which pivots and engages a 2nd set of four rails wheels with a second pair of embedded tracks, set at 90-degrees to the mill axis.
RUSSELL Rail FCT can be powered hydraulically from RUSSELL Mill Relining Machines or electrically from the plant supply.
