RUSSELL Steam Heater Transporter

The need to enhance energy use efficiency can provide mine sites with benefits such as cost savings, waters savings, increased production and reduced greenhouse emissions. One project to address this issue utilised co-generation plants to convert waste heat to power production. The heaters used to create steam for the refinery required some specialised equipment to facilitate the removal and replacement of live steam heaters. The design of the Transporter accommodates the many constraints imposed by site conditions, with integrated systems to maximise operator safety.
