Technical Writer Team Leader

Jenny Wren has provided the leadership capability for Russell Mineral Equipment’s Technical Writing specialists since 2013 – a team that is responsible for the production of high-quality, user-focused documentation to support accelerated customer adoption and safe and efficient use of the RUSSELL Mill Reline System and product technologies.

In this role Jenny is responsible for coordinating the resources to fulfil the production of a range of technical documentation, equipment installation and operation manuals, parts books, policies and procedures, technical and service bulletins, and safety alerts. This work involves technical liaison with the RME engineering and projects teams, contracts and document control, asset support, sales and marketing, assembly, as well as collaboration with the engineer-to-order (ETO) TAKT and variable TAKT teams. The outcome of which is informative, engaging, accessible and easily-digestible content delivered in a highly-efficient and timely manner.

Jenny is a humanistic team leader, who is both compassionate and passionate about providing opportunities for her people to develop their capabilities and achieve their full potential. She has developed these qualities and unique skill set during her extensive technical career which has included Safety Advisor roles with Georgiou and Hatch, Technical Writer roles with Argyle Diamond Mine Underground and Alcan, Plant Operator at Barminco and Process Technician roles with Alcan, Argyle Diamond Mine and Boyne Smelters.

Jenny is committed to the continuous expansion of her professional skills and credentials. She has completed numerous courses on workplace health and safety, health and wellness and technical writing. Jenny also possesses a Bachelor of Biomedical Science gained in 2014. Most recently she has completed a Diploma in Management and Leadership, and Quality Auditing.
