Service Technical Officer
Christian Kramer is an experienced Service Technical Officer at Russell Mineral Equipment – a role which he has held since 2014. Christian works as a key contributor to asset support team and part of a function which underpins the company’s regional service offices around the globe.
As a Service Technical Officer, Christian is responsible for the output and currency of technical documentation and training materials and programs – elements which are critical for the safe, effective and efficient operation of RME’s world-leading suite of mill reline products and technologies. This ensures the knowledge base for RME’s equipment experts is always up-to-date and new technicians can accelerate time to high-output and productivity.
Christian first joined RME in 2010 as a Customer Support Technician and, over the course of the next few years, transitioned through the roles of Assembly Electrician, Assembly Leading Hand, Leading Hand Yard Logistics before joining the training and technical documentation team where he contributes today. Across all of these these roles, Christian’s key strength has been the ability to bring structure to, and deliver methodically and diligently against project outcomes.
Prior to RME, Christian commenced his career as a mechanic and automotive technician before switching industries to work as a general electrician with a number of local businesses in Toowoomba. This unique dual-trade background has added a great deal of value to Christian’s technical capability and contribution to RME. Christian possesses a Cert III in Automotive Engineering and Electrotechnology and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment from TAFE Queensland.
