Learning and Development Advisor
Isabel Malferrari is Russell Mineral Equipment’s Learning and Development Advisor. In her own words, Isabel feels fortunate to work for an organisation that genuinely cares for its people. Indeed, RME understands that by aligning and engaging employees, and ensuring they have opportunities to grow and develop, that high performance and extraordinary Customer outcomes will follow.
Working with RME’s Chief People Officer, the HR Team, and stakeholders across the business, Isabel’s role is both forward-looking and hands on. She ensures RME’s leadership, teams and individual competencies are compliant with the needs of their roles today, as well as supporting a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Having these programs working in tandem is critical as RME sustains and strengthens its core RUSELL Mill Relining System business and develops safer, smarter and sophisticated automation technologies for modern mineral processing operations.
Isabel is an accomplished and passionate professional. Prior to RME, she worked with TAFE Queensland in training, assessment, vocational education, continuous improvement and governance and risk. Isabel also gained deep experience as a long-tenured leader and executive director of the Del Monte Foundation and Del Monte Philippines Inc., an affiliate of Del Monte Pacific Limited, a global branded food and beverage manufacturer, where she oversaw leadership development, organisation performance, learning and development, succession planning and other aspects of general HRM practice
A lifelong learner, Isabel has a long list of credentials and certifications to her name. She’s a CAHRI member with the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), a Professional Member with the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) and an accredited facilitator with major organisational leadership and psychology profiling and assessment programs. Isabel has also been a speaker in the area of corporate social responsibility and human resources development at a number of international HR industry events. Isabel has a Bachelor of Commerce, a Diploma in Human Resource Development, and currently completing a postgraduate Certificate in Workplace Diversity and Inclusion.
