Key Account Manager
Tim Kruger recently joined Russell Mineral Equipment in 2018 as a Key Account Manager in support of the company’s business development and sales processes – front-line functions which are critical to RME’s ability to build trusted and long-term relationships with its mineral processing Customers.
Integral to Tim’s role is the development of strong working partnerships within the RME business and externally with mine sites, mill operators, liner manufacturers, engineering, procurement & construction management companies (EPCM’s) and other key stakeholders. These collective client relationships enable Tim to present the unique and compelling value of RME’s world-leading Mill Relining System and optimisation programs which make relines faster, more reliable, and safer.
Tim’s role is also highly-collaborative as he works internally with business development, contracts, and regional sales and servicing centres, applications engineering, marketing and others, ensuring commercial orders for capital equipment are accurately specified and aligned with the clients supply and delivery expectations. As part of this, you will often see Tim intricately involved in the coordination, preparation and completion of requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotation (RFQs) and formal tender responses.
Tim’s strengths in building cooperative Customer relationships, executing contract negotiations and commercial acumen were developed during his 12+ years as Commercial Banking Manager with two of Australia’s leading financial institutions – the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) and the National Australia Bank (NAB). Tim’s professionalism, ability to articulate and add value to client conversations were also honed when he ran his own finance broking business prior to joining RME.
