Service Account Manager – West Africa 

Samuel Essilfie joined Russell Mineral Equipment in 2018 as Service Account Manager for West Africa – a region where new and emerging projects, underpinned by a diverse resource base, are set to make major contributions to West Africa's economic future and global mineral supply.

With the mission-critical process of mill relining a major contributor to plant availability, Samuel’s core focus is to engage with RME’s Customers and deliver innovative, reliable solutions that ensure safety in relining, and optimisation of reline times. These solutions encompass long term support contracts, maintenance scheduling, equipment upgrades, reline attendance, technician training and support, ancillary product sales, and spare parts provisioning for the RME Mill Relining System, as well as mill reline systems design, optimisation and consulting. Samuel also partners with business development and engineering on new capital equipment projects and applications, and his close proximity to RME Customers in the region provides an important feedback loop from site for improving service delivery and driving sustainable growth.

Samuel has proven experience in the design and delivery of aftermarket solutions for West Africa’s heavy equipment and mining services industry. Prior to RME, Samuel was Product Support Sales and Admin Development Manager at DEM Equipment Ghana Limited, official John Deere, Hitachi Machinery and Wirtgen Group distributor in Ghana. He also served 6 years with J.A Plant Pool Ghana Limited, supplier of heavy duty and earth moving equipment, as Northern Zone Manager and Earth Moving Equipment Workshop Manager. A career-start as Field Service Engineer from 2006 through 2010 with Mantrac Ghana Limited, sole authorised dealer and product support for CAT equipment, initiated his passion for delivering exceptional after-market support.

Samuel was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 from the (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology) and an Executive Certificate in Business Administration in June 2010 from the (Graduate School of Governance and Leadership).
