Rosanne Steen-Meijers is Russell Mineral Equipment’s Contracts and Projects Manager, a role to which she brings strong commercial skill and international experience stemming from an extensive career in the oil and gas, maritime, and asset-intensive sectors.

Rosanne and her contracts team are not only vital instruments for business development, they ensure the commitment, expectation and intention between RME and its clients are well-aligned and well-documented – the foundation for good contract management, good governance, excellent project outcomes and exceedingly-satisfied Customers. On a daily basis, Rosanne works diligently and collaboratively to safeguard the legal and commercial interests of all stakeholders during contractual negotiations around the deployment of RME’s bespoke mill reline technologies and services, and administering contracts throughout the entire lifecycle to project delivery and completion.

Rosanne is well-equipped to perform this role after spending her first years at RME as a Key Account Manager. Her commercial acumen and project management skills have been rigorously honed since her career start in the early 1990s working for Schlumberger, the world's leading oilfield services provider, as an engineer on an offshore drilling rig. Rosanne’s at-sea work continued with Dutch maritime contractor Van Oord as a night superintendent on-board a North Sea vessel, after which, she moved back onto dry land, project managing offshore pipeline and platform installation projects around the world. In 2008 Rosanne moved to Australia, working in senior contracts, commercial and procurement roles for a number of energy and infrastructure enterprises.

Rosanne also possesses the much sought-after skill of speaking multiple languages – Dutch, English, French, German and a spot of Spanish – which is of great benefit to RME’s worldwide operations and globally-diverse Customer base.
