Business Development Manager, APAC
Adrian Naumann was appointed Business Development Manager for the Asia Pacific region with Russell Mineral Equipment in February 2018. With the mining sector continuing to demonstrate strong fundamentals, and the APAC region often leading the way in terms of projects and capital expenditure, Adrian’s Customer-facing role is a critical one.
Adrian proactively partners with Customers in the region, working to identify opportunities for optimisations which advance the process of relining grinding mills efficiently and safely through the application of RME’s world-leading mill relining technology. This requires a multi-layered engagement strategy, not only with RME clients and their projects, but EPCM’s, grinding mill and liner manufacturers, bolt suppliers, and a myriad of stakeholders in the minerals processing value chain. Having cultivated these strong relationships, Adrian is able to propose tailored solutions for aftermarket support services, mill reline optimisation studies, maintenance and training, with the goal of increasing returns on capital equipment investments, maximising mill availability, and extending mine site profitability.
Adrian’s work-life reveals proven capabilities in business development and valuable field and territory sales experience in high-pace fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. Adrian’s career-start was with the Smith’s Snackfood Company as a Sales Representative, a role which he held for 8+ years until 2003, before joining Goodman Fielder as a Territory Manager. Adrian was also Business Development Executive and New Business Manager for Coca-Cola Amatil, where he notably received a National Market Excellence award. In the years preceding his appointment at RME, he as Director of the Toowoomba Trophy Centre a successful business that services the wide Darling Downs region for over 30 years. Adrian holds a Certificate in Business from University of Southern Queensland (USQ).
