RME'S digital transformation update for our Customers and suppliers

RME is in the midst of a multi-year digital transformation that will establish a common ERP environment and streamline related processes across our global operations.

To our valued Customers and Suppliers,

RUSSELL MINERAL EQUIPMENT (RME) is in the midst of a multi-year digital transformation that will establish a common enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment and streamline related processes across our global operations.

RME’s goals for this significant project are about enabling increased operational effectiveness and agility, driving enhanced collaboration across our teams and supply chains, and making it easier to connect and share our mill relining technology expertise and services with our Customers.

This implementation will transition multiple legacy systems including Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply & Distribution, Shipping, IT, HR, CRM and Customer Experience, into a new RME365 environment that has been built on the mature, robust and proven Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

We are incredibly grateful to have the support of our implementation partners, in particular Capgemini – a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation – to make the transition as smooth as possible for our business as well as our Customers and suppliers.

Currently, our official changeover date is scheduled for Monday April 3 2023 (Australian time).

As with any large-scale technology transition, there are risks that parts of the RME business may experience reduced productivity throughout the go-live implementation process. This may include our responsiveness to our Customers and Vendors due to unforeseen temporary system interruptions. Rest assured, however, that we are working extremely hard to ensure this will not be the case, and that all you experience are our improved service levels.

This is an exciting time at RME. This transition is central to our strategy of investing for sustainable growth. This will be enabled by a modern, agile business platform that supports our work to improve our Customer’s concentrator performance through fast, reliable, safe mill relining technologies and optimisation services.
