Marketing Services Manager (based in Toowoomba, QLD)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Services Manager to join the Product Management and Marketing team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The primary function of the Marketing Services Manager is to build and reinforce RME’s brand, reputation, values and culture, to RME’s Customers, industry, communities and employees, through the coordination and execution of high-quality internal and external events, sponsorships, branded marketing and promotional materials, photography and other corporate marketing services. 

Working closely with the wider Product Management and Marketing team, the Marketing Services Manager will also be responsible for the administration of various operational functions with a focus on reinforcing and maintaining RME’s brand and culture. 

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Required

  • Significant experience (of at least 5 years) in branded marketing material production / event management or related discipline within a fast-paced corporate environment
  • In-depth understanding of marketing promotional practices and brand communications
  • Demonstrated commitment to the maintenance of a strong brand and culture
  • Developed graphic design or desktop publishing capability
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, coupled with high-level interpersonal skills and social literacy
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and commitment to nurture and mentorship of team members
  • Strong administration focus with high attention to detail

Desirable

  • Marketing Communications experience within the manufacturing, mining and resources, or other related industry
  • Events management experience especially in B2B industry trade shows and conferences

  • Experience in administration of trademarks, patents and translation service or experience in administering other transactional / compliance activities, HSE or other

Field Service Technician - Mechanical (based in Perth, WA)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Technician – Mechanical to join the Western Australia Team on a Permanent full-time Basis.

The Customer Support Technician (CST) is responsible for:

  • Ensure that RME assets at customer sites operate in a fast, reliable and safe manner
  • Key point of contact for service requests
  • Responsible for commissioning, maintenance and training of customer mine site personnel on the RME suite of technologies
  • Recommendation of spare parts, provision of condition reports and consultation with the customer on asset maintenance
  • Participation in training and motivation opportunities

Please note: This is a customer-facing position and will require both domestic and international travel on projects, often for extended periods of time. It is not a rostered position and as such, candidates should be flexible and able to travel for work at short notice.

Operating under a performance based pay structure, employees may choose annual days of work between 125-150 days. Post the completion of selected days, the options of either time off or additional days for additional reward if offered.

Required

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Electrotechnology, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic) or similar trade qualification
  • Mechanical aptitude with at least 2 years’ experience in automotive, manufacturing, mechanical or related industry
  • Well-developed written and spoken communication and presentation skills in order to represent RME at various levels at mine sites and other organisations as required
  • An ability to generate rapport quickly, establish good working relationships and to understand, interpret and respond clearly to others
  • An outgoing personality that allows the individual to confidently make contact by telephone and conduct personal meetings with people not previously known

Desirable

  • Dual trade Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems – Electrician, Certificate III – Engineering (Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter & Turner, Motor Mechanic) or similar trade qualification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the ability to obtain
  • Single-phase and three-phase, low and extra-low voltage experience

CNC Machinist (based in Toowoomba, QLD)

We have an exciting opportunity for CNC Machinist -Night Shift to join the Machine Centre team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist – Night Shift is responsible for programming and operating RME’s CNC Machining / Turning Centres. The CNC Machinist – Night Shift ensures that all machined parts within the RME range of products are completed to a high standard of workmanship, conforming to established specifications while maintaining safe work practices.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Required

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Machining) or similar trade qualification
  • Exceptional precision machining skills coupled with a strong appreciation of the importance of quality in a low-volume, high-value environment
  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to approach situations with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Desirable

  • Experience of Lean manufacturing or other related initiatives
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Basic IT competency, including the use of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in the use of 3D modelling software, ideally SolidWorks / SolidCAM

Licences

Service Account Manager (based in Perth, WA)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Account Manager to join the Western Australia Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Service Account Managers key objective is, in collaboration with the service teams, to develop RME’s opportunities and relationships with existing Customers. This will be achieved through proactive regular contact and ensuring that the quality of the service provided exceeds the Customer’s expectations. This development is focussed on cementing collaborative engagement with new and current Customers to improve their concentrator availability, to develop sales opportunities and to ensure that operational issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

You will be part of a small team based in our Bibra Lake office while reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for APA/EMERU who is based at our global headquarters in QLD.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • At least 3 years’ aftersales support experience, preferably in a mining- or export-related field
  • Ability to seek out and develop positive relationships with Customers, as well as to follow through with proposals or quotes as appropriate
  • Ability to quickly generate rapport and to understand, interpret and respond clearly to others
  • Well-developed negotiation and persuasion skills
  • A desire to delight Customers, going ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty and a drive to see sales through to completion
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to determine priorities, meet deadlines and take follow-up action until finalisation

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce, Engineering, Marketing or other relevant discipline
  • Technical knowledge of RME MILL RELINING systems
  • Forklift Truck Licence

This role will require an element of travel around Western Australia to Customer sites and offices and therefore a current drivers licence is a requirement for this role.
