Field Service Technician – Mechanical (Western Australia)

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician – Mechanical to join the Western Australia team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Field Service Technician is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that RME assets at Customer sites operate in a fast, reliable and safe manner;
  • Acting as the key point of contact for service requests;
  • The commissioning, maintenance and training of Customer mine site personnel on the RME suite of technologies;
  • Recommending spare parts, provision of condition reports and consultation with the Customer on asset maintenance; and
  • Participation in training and motivation opportunities.

Please note: This is a Customer-facing position and will require domestic travel on projects. It is not a rostered position and as such, candidates should be flexible and able to travel.

Business Development Manager (Perth, Western Australia)

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Regional Service Centre team on a full-time, permanent basis in Bibra Lake, Perth, WA.

The primary purpose of this role is to develop the regional Capital Sales and Customer Support market in conjunction with the RME Sales team. An essential mechanism for success in this role is the cultivation of relationships with RME’s Customers that support the development of deep Customer insights at a region- and organisation-wide level.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will identify opportunities for RME solutions through the expansion of agreed regional markets for RME’s products, services and solutions in line with RME’s overarching global Customer strategies. Role responsibilities will include:

  • define, develop and execute leads and opportunities in greenfield and brownfield markets for Capital opportunities;
  • sales development for RME’s capital market and suite of Mill Relining Technologies;
    develop sales strategies and coordinate business development tactics;
  • build and refine effective networks and relationships with all key stakeholders across the grinding industry;
  • identify opportunities for RME Mill Relining Machine replacements;
    assist the Customer Support team with medium- to large-scale commercial opportunities;
  • initiate engagement with RME Customers, their projects and the specific stakeholders within the project (such as EPCMs, Mill Suppliers and various third-party suppliers in line with local and global RME strategies);
  • develop and maintain close working relationships with RME affiliates including mill manufacturers, liner manufacturers, engineering consultants, grinding media and bolt suppliers on an ongoing basis; and
  • work closely with other RME employees including (but not limited) to the Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Service Account Managers (SAMs).

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

REQUIRED

  1. At least 5 years significant strategic business development and sales experience
  2. Experience in sales and / or business development processes within a large corporate Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
  3. Proven track record in developing strategies and executing tactics in order to achieve sales and / or business development targets
  4. Ability to adhere to a structured sales process within a dynamic environment
  5. High-level communication and presentation skills to represent RME at all levels at mine sites, mining company head offices, mining engineering consultant firms and other organisations
  6. Ability and willingness to be persuasive in discussions with mining industry (including mine site) personnel across varying levels within an organisation
  7. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff at all levels, from senior management through to mine site operational staff
  8. Experience in understanding, interpreting and negotiating supply contracts with potential and existing Customers
  9. An outgoing personality that allows the individual to confidently and professionally make contact by telephone and conduct personal meetings with people not previously known
  10. Effective time management to ensure sufficient and effective Customer contact, particularly in regard to RME’s global market
  11. Attention to detail for all administrative tasks, ensuring in particular that RME’s Engineering, Production and Finance Departments are adequately informed of order details and that Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system data integrity is maintained

DESIRABLE

  1. Tertiary qualification in a sales-related discipline
  2. Knowledge of and a wide range of contacts within the hard rock mining industry
  3. Knowledge of and experience with the maintenance programs of grinding mills, in particular relining
  4. Fluency in a second language, particularly Russian is a distinct advantage as is knowledge of RME Mill Relining Equipment and Services

Trades Assistant (Toowoomba, QLD)

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Trades Assistant to join the Fabrication Team on a Permanent full-time basis.

The Trades Assistant is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Russell Mineral Equipment’s cutting equipment on a roster rotation system which also includes the sanding and cleaning the profiled parts in a manner that meets RME’s quality assurance and design specifications.

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Boilermaker to join the Fabrication Team on a Permanent full-time, basis.

Boilermakers are responsible for the efficient fabrication and welding of RME-manufactured equipment to a high standard of workmanship and safety. Boilermakers must have a genuine interest in fabricating high-quality, high-performance, specialised machines.

Strong interpersonal skills, such as the ability to take direction, respond positively to criticism, and be proactive in seeking feedback and the ability to work respectfully in a team environment are critical to success in this role.

REQUIRED

  1. Experience in flat plate fabrication, with the ability and desire to produce the highest-quality fabrications to AS1554 parts 1 and 4
  2. Experience in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings

Document Control Officer / Administrator (Toowoomba, QLD)

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator / Document Control Officer to join the Contracts and Projects team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Formatting and document collation of technical reports, manuals, proposals and minutes;
  • Ensuring that document templates are used correctly in documentation generated by the team;
  • Ensuring current versions of documents are issued to required project parties;
  • Ensuring document submissions are in accordance and compliant with the project document formats and requirements;
